Pahal Students visit Pearl Academy Noida / Naraina Campus :
1. Pahal students applying for NIFT Master’s Program MFM/MfTech/M.Des, they had a GD PI session in Pearl Naraiana campus by Design Industry experts. They got an idea about tips and techniques for GD-PI.
2. Pahal Students applying for NIFT UG Program, they did workshop on Situation Test and also they learned creative write up skills by communication design faculty.
At Pearl Academy they had a great experience.

NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology – 1986 established) is for Design, Management and Technology related courses which is under ministry of Textiles. A student who has applied for NIFT Master’s Program is confused about the MFM/MFtech/M.Des courses. This confusion is because students having different academic background and they feel themselves new to Fashion and Design Industry. NIFT GD-PI comprises of 30% weightage which is equally divided 15% for both the sections i.e. 15% for GD and 15% for PI. GD_PI is a important stage for deciding the all India rank of students.

5. What measures can be taken to improve the scenario of Indian Apparel Industry?

MFM GD Topics:
1) Do fairness products have the capability of tapping the Indian male market?
2) Average size models should be encouraged in promoting apparel or not?
3) Should Rayon be used over Cotton as an industrial fabric?
4) E-commerce vs Brick and mortar stores
5) Is discount the only lure for customers?
MFtech GD Topics:
1) The scope of wearable smart gadgets in future.
2) Retailing artisans (weavers) with e-tailing sites. Will it help or not?
3) E- commerce – good or bad for apparel and handicraft industry in India?
4) Importance of eco- friendly products and techniques. New Zealand has developed a fabric from rice wastage. Should that be adopted by other countries too ( including India)?
5) Is cloud computing important in today’s industries? If yes then how does in help in reducing time and money?
